- 0.250 kg Bulgarian white rice
- 0.750 lt Water
- 0.100 kg Parsley
- 0.100 kg Chives
- 0.100 lt Sunflower oil
- 0.005 kg Dried red pepper powder
- 0.010 kg Sharena salt
Method
14 steps- 1 Preheat the oven @190°c.
- 2 Wash the rice a few times until you have clear water seeping from it. In a large saucepan, add water and bring to a boil. Add the rice and cook until cooked as desired, about 7 to 8 min on medium heat. Remove from the water and set aside.
- 3 Clean the peppers, cut in ½ and remove the seeds.
- 4 Crumble the cheese.
- 5 Mince the herbs finely.
- 6 Mix the cheese, herbs, and cooked rice, adding the sharena salt and a pinch of the red pepper powder.
- 7 Fill the pepper halves, compacting the mixture without pressing too much.
- 8 Drizzle the oil on a baking sheet.
- 9 Place the peppers on it, leaving some space between them,
- 10 Drizzle some more of the oil on them.
- 11 Sprinkle the oil over the peppers.
- 12 Bake for about 8 min, until the peppers are soft.
- 13 Serve hot.
